About Dr Tom Young

Over the past 25 years, Tom has served college students in various positions as an administrator in higher education. He holds degrees from the University of Louisville and Western Kentucky University.
His love for creating furniture was nurtured and developed through his shop classes in junior high and high school. Through the years he has honed his skills by studying with master craftsmen and by creating numerous pieces for the home, relatives and other customers.
The overall mission at drtomyoung.com is to create family heirlooms that will endure and be passed down for generations. Quality design is accomplished in conversation with the client. Quality workmanship is accomplished through meticulous attention to detail, professional joinery, and the desire to see the client’s smile of satisfaction with the finished work.
Tom and his wife Lisa, dog and cat lovers, live in Canton, Ohio. Their artistic and creative expressions may be seen throughout their home and gardens. |
